Exhibit Animations proves plaintiff claims false with equipment injury animation.
Q1 2020
Working together with the defense, the goal for this animation was to demonstrate to the prosecution that the claims laid out by the plaintiff were not physically possible.
The plaintiff’s right hand had been injured on the defendants property by the spinning belts of an idle lawnmower. In their deposition, the plaintiff had claimed to trip and fall towards the mower due to a depression in the ground on the defendants property.
This animation was made to show, even if the plaintiff had tried their hardest to fall and extend their right hand as far as possible, they would have failed to reach the idle lawnmower’s belts underneath the seat. This is a bird’s eye view of we worked on with the client.
Exhibit Animations built the environment using a photo that the plaintiff had marked with where the lawnmower and depression were located on the defendants property when the injury occured.
In this shot, the client wanted to demonstrate where the hole was located, and how far the plaintiff would have moved forward in relation to the lawnmower. Exhibit Animations delivered this shot at three different animation speeds to give the client options on exactly what fit their case best.
This final “low angle” shot was also delivered in three different speed options to better give the client the ability to talk during the animation and describe all the ways that the plaintiffs claims were not physically possible.
Exhibit Animations collaborated with professionals in the body mechanics field to make sure the animation was as accurate as possible.
